Life

Life has been pretty busy. We blessed Taelor on July 6th. I will post some pictures later. We have been trying to decide if we are going to stay in Cedar any longer or move. I finally start to feel like I understand this mommy stuff and then I feel so lost again. I really can't complain, Taelor is a really good baby. We love her so much. She is really spoiled. Brandon and I couldn't be happier. We are enjoying our new life.

Tae

I am starting to make faces.

I am starting to like my swing a little bit more.
I love my naps.
I wouldn't go back to sleep in my bassinet so mom and dad let me sleep on the bed. I like to sleep on my side and have done since I was 3 days old.

Tae has curly hair when it is wet. If we don't brush it straight when it is wet then it goes everywhere.

I like mom to hold me when I take one of my morning and one of my afternoon naps during the day. The other ones I want to lay by myself.

Wet Spots

I peed on dad the day I turned a month old. I had just got out of the bath.

I got mom a few days later.
It came out the side of her diaper when I was feeding her. I don't know how that happened.

Mom spoils me and lets me lay on the pillow when she can sit and watch me to make sure I don't roll over.

I didn't last long. It was a little to comfortable.
It took her a while to decide if she liked her swing. She doesn't like to stay in it very long.

Purple Toes

The hosiptal told us we could do her footprints at home and just us baby oil and the ink would come right off. As you can see it didn't work. She really didn't like it being done either. We used black ink and her toes went purple.

Bath Time

Tae likes to bath with me. She just relaxes and will sometimes kick her legs. We have to be carefull or she poops in the tub, which is pretty nasty because I am in with her. Brandon starts to gag and leaves. I just tell him he isn't the one in the poop!

First time to Church

I needed to get out of the house but I didn't want to go by my self so we hurried to get ready to make it to church. We didn't get out of bed until 10:30 and church was at 11:00.

We just went to sacrament meeting and then came home.

She is almost 10 days old here. She can't sit in her bouncer very well yet.

Cuddle Bug

Tae loves to cuddle especially with her daddy.

Going to the Hospital

Tae hates getting dressed. She doesn't like anything to go over her head. We were getting her dressed to go to the hospital to get her hill pricked to see if her bili levels had gone down.

Nothing Fits

Her outfits were all so big on her. We didn't have a lot of newborn outfits because the doctor told us she was going to be a big baby. The doctor did think she would come in June not on May 8th.

Sponge Bath

We gave Tae her first bath at home when she was three days old. Her bow didn't want to come out of her hair. We had to scrub it pretty good to get it to come out and she didn't like that.

Friends from Korea

Brandon lived in the same house with him but they were never companions. We had planned the dinner before Taelor was born. They were coming thru town on Sunday the 11th. We didn't tell them we had the baby so they were pretty excited when they got to our house. He is getting ready to go to medical school and wouldn't be back to Utah for a while.

Leaving the Hospital

Taelor hated her car seat from the first time we put her in it and she still hates it.

Bili Lights

Taelor had to be on the bili lights in the hospital

and at home.

She had to be on them for 6 days.

We put them in her bassinet so that she wasn't just on the floor.
